What is a ABB VFD

The main function of ABB VFDs are to control speed, torque, acceleration, deceleration and direction of rotation of a machine.  ABB VFDS are used to optimize the machines or motor process and to adapt it to various tasks to improve product quality, production speed, save energy and safety.  Some applications for ABB VFD are machine tools and lathes.  Printing press with the use of a ABB VFD can improve their quality of products by operating at certain speed that produces the best results.
