These Yaskawa CIMR models are the ultimate drive solution ranging in size form 1/2 - 500 horsepower.  This AC drive with increase speed and torque response to provide servo-like performance from an induction motor in torque, speed, or position control applications.  These G7 offers the first 480V 3-level inverter architecture that minimizes and some cases eliminates the installation problems associated with IGBT switching and protects the entire motor-drive system.  The G7 also offers the DriveWorks EZ which is a PC-based, graphical icon, object-oriented, programming tool that is easy to use.

These Yaskawa CIMR models are designed for variable torque applications such as industrial fan and pump drive.  They range in size from 5-500 horsepower.  They come with a V/f control and Normal Duty overload rating of 110% for one minute.  A network communications, power/packaging and plug-in I/O are also available. With a transformer, the P7 dual-diode bridge can be operated in 12-pulse rectification mode, which reduces harmonic distortion.

The V74X is a general purpose Vector Drive NEMA type 4X/12 available in 1/8 - 15 horsepower.  These Yaskawa CIMR models are compact, low cost and operates in V/f or open loop vector mode.  These models offers good speed regulation, and also provides higher torque at lower speeds.  With its NEMA 4X/12 enclosure it can be used in wet and dusty indoor environment.  Applications include grinders, centrifuges, conveyors, pumps, fan, blowers, packaging, food processing and commercial laundry.

Yaskawa CIMR models - V7 Drive

The V7 is a general purpose Vector Drive ranging in size from 1/8 - 10 horsepower.  It is a high performance compact drive and also low cost.  Operates in V/f or open loop vector mode, it provides good speed regulation and the open loop also provides higher torque at lower speeds.  The ideal applications for these Yaskawa CIMR models are conveyors, centrifuges, grinders, pumps, fans, blowers, machine tools, packaging , food processing, and commercial laundry.

Yaskawa CIMR models - V7N Drive

The V7N was created by embedding DeviceNet into the control card and is used for facilities with the DeviceNet communications system.  This embedded Device Net allows 64 network nodes.  It includes programmable MAC Id and baud rate, and supports drive type profiles with flash capability for easy software upgrades.  It is a general purpose vector drive ranging in size from 1/8 - 10 horsepower.

Yaskawa CIMR models - J7 Drive

The Yaskawa CIMR models are a general purpose AC drive and range in horsepower from 1/8 - 5Hp.  The J7 with its PWM design provides low motor noise and high starting torque, with a current overload rating of 150% for 60 seconds.  These models are ideal whenever small size and low cost are required.   Digital programming cover 79 different parameters, it has five digital inputs, 1 analog input, and 1 digital output.  An optional RS-485 Modbus RTU communication port is available.

Yaskawa CIMR models - G5 Drive 600 Volt

The G5-600 Volt is a general purpose vector drive ranging in size from 2- 200 Hp.  This VFD produces an output of adjustable voltage and frequency to control the speed of the squirrel cage induction motor.  The G5 has 3 modes of control and speed to supply accuracy to any application.  With the PWM design it provides low motor noise and high starting torque, current overload rating is 150% for 60 seconds.

The P5 is rated for 600 volt and ranges in sizes from 2 to 200 horsepower variable torque.  Standard features include energy-savings mode, setpoint (PID) control, power-consumption monitoring, and harmonic distortion reduction.  Applications for this Yaskawa CIMR models are fans, pumps, buffers, grinders, centrifuges, and saws.
