a special electric amplifier used to power electric servo motor.
The Yaskawa Servo monitors feedback signals from the motor
and continually adjusts it. Yaskawa Servo works by
receiving a command signal from a control system, then amplifies the
signal, and transmits electric current to the servo motor to produce
motion proportional to the command signal. Usually the command
signal represents a desired velocity, but it can also represent a
desired torque or position. A
Yasawa encoder,
which is attached to the servo motor reports the motor's actual
velocity back to the servo drive. The Yaskawa Servo
Drive then compares the actual motor velocity with the commanded
motor velocity, it then alters the voltage frequency to the motor so
to correct any error in the velocity.

while it is online, instead of powering it down completely and then
